A refurbished Victorian warehouse, Loft Studios has five interlinking spaces, with two secluded courtyards which can be used for events. Spread over 17,500 square feet, the space comprises of exposed brick walls, oak flooring and is flooded with natural daylight. Able to accommodate any style of event, the space can fit 2,000 standing or 300 theatre.
One of our favourite places to eat, Hawker House also doubles up as an impressive events venue. Able to accommodate up to 3,000 standing when the full venue is hired, you will have access to two large rooms, three breakout spaces, ten bars, and fourteen street food traders. And these aren’t any street food traders, expect mouth-watering treats from the likes of Mother Flipper, Burger and Beyond and Yumplings.
Tobacco Dock, better known for hosting large-scale events including Festival of Marketing and WIRED Live, also has a variety of spaces for smaller events including conferences, product launches and drinks receptions. This historic building is perfect for corporate events with an urban edge. Able to seat 1,600 theatre style with multiple breakout rooms it creates a unique backdrop for any conference. Able to accommodate smaller style events their Head Office space can hold up to as many as 30 delegates and as few as two. Where classic architecture meets modern design, Fazeley Studios is a daylight flooded creative event space. There are a variety of spaces to hire, most notably the Grand Gallery. A Unitarian Sunday school dating from 1865, it is a breathtaking space perfect for a drinks reception or gala dinner. It can accommodate 150 seated.
Found hidden behind Angel station, Islington Metalworks is a flexible event space that can host an impressive 1,000. Built in the 18th century the venue used to house the horses that kept London’s transport system moving and in 1925 was converted into metalwork, part of which is still in operation today.
One of our favourite named venues, Behind the Bike Shed, spans 12,000 square feet underneath the railway arches. Renovated to keep the original features, plus adding modern touches the space is perfect for product launches, drinks receptions and Christmas and summer parties.
