JLL held ‘JLL Live’ – a festival-themed experiential conference for more than 2,000 UK staff over one day at the ICC London at ExCel. The aim of the event was to bring staff together to communicate a new strategy for the business.
JLL Live was the organisation’s first attempt at incorporating an experiential element within a business conference. The brief was for people to actually ‘do’ the strategy rather than ‘hear’ the strategy. The event needed to be fun and unexpected and they wanted people to jump in, be agile, think creatively and act differently.
Banks Sadler worked with JLL to meet these objectives. To tick the ‘unexpected’ box, the conference opened with JLL’s CEO driving a motorbike on stage inside the ICC auditorium. The festival-themed area was also unveiled as a surprise to delegates.
