The team behind the impressive Watergate Bay Hotel in Cornwall bring us the stunning Another Place Hotel in the Lake District. Nestled in 18 acres of national park, the hotel houses a spa, two restaurants and 40 bedrooms and is an ideal location for a team retreat. There are endless ways to keep guests busy, with opportunities to paddle board, wild swim, sail or even ski.
Adding another hotel to this edgy brand, The Hoxton Paris has at last opened its doors. Home to 172 luxurious bedrooms, guests can also find an urban brasserie and a cocktail bar all beautifully designed in keeping with the hotel’s French roots. Mixing old and new, the hotel has exposed timber beams, wood panelling and cornicing, combined with contemporary design features. Due to open in October 2017, we can expect nothing less than the exceptional Nordic design with this new hotel. Touted as a ‘home from home’, the renowned ballet dancer Alexander Kølpin created this boutique style 52 bedroom hotel as a space for locals and guests to stay, eat and relax. Built across five floors, guests can expect a warm and rustic tone, with rattan furniture, woven rugs and local artist collections.
For the more luxurious of stays, Park Hyatt St Kitts is due to open in November 2017. Nestled on golden beaches, surrounded by Caribbean waters, the hotel has 78 bedrooms and 48 suites, all chicly designed including some with private swimming pools. The hotel has an impressive 7,000 square foot of event space and can offer a variety of team building activities including diving, snorkeling, fishing, yachting, and golfing. A great choice for an incentive group.
Hard Rock International continues to expand its portfolio, this time with a planned opening in the Swiss Alps. It will open at the previous Spenglers Hotel and will incorporate the buildings rich history with music inspired design features. Guests can expect 111 lavishly designed bedrooms, a historic chapel, meeting rooms, rooftop terrace, spa and yoga studio.
Designed to fit the needs of the ‘modern traveller’ the new Pilgrim hotel will have no lobby or reception, and instead, expects guests to check in online. Each room has a pared back design, with the removal of all unnecessary items, whilst still keeping luxurious elements including 100% Egyptian cotton sheets, Marshall speakers and Tom Dixon design features.
Due to open in 2018, Manhattan Loft Gardens Design Hotel will feature 150 bedrooms spread across seven levels of the 42 story building in Stratford. Designed by the team behind The St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, the hotel will have three sky gardens, meeting space, spa facilities and a swimming pool.
