‘Shaping our Digital Future’ aimed to immerse 800 Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIEE) staff in digital thinking and introduce them to some of the most inspiring theorists within the space, in order to challenge outlooks, impact on skills and impart knowledge.
The 2 day event at Butlin’s Bognor Regis featured speakers from world leading technology companies, influencers and innovators with a curated agenda touching on futurology, adjacent industries, cyber security, disruptive media and the evolving retail landscape.
The Banks Sadler Event Management Team co-ordinated all sign up, travel, F&B, entertainment and accommodation for guests and speakers in pre-production, whilst the Production Team created a platform for engaging content delivery from the likes of Amazon, Facebook, Adobe and YouTube Millionaires, all facilitated by TV Technology Presenter Julia Hardy.
Open use of all activities was negotiated as part of the venue contract to include everything from go karting, bowling and gaming to rock climbing archery and swimming. The evening was overtaken by ‘Kerb’ Street Food Specialist and the onsite nightclub transformed into a bespoke SIEE space with interactive games, live music and ‘Unchartered’ release experience.
The event closed with insights from Brian Cox surrounding the application of big data in mapping the universe and the exciting potential of technological advancement in entertainment and beyond.
The event used dual camera relay to highlight new product demonstrations within the whole event was captured by two roving videographers and three photography, with highlights content produced during and post event.
