In April 2019, Banks Sadler delivered Saudi Business Machines’ (SBM) incentive programme for the 14th consecutive year. Tasked with organising an experience unlike any other, we explored Buenos Aires, Mauritius and Beijing as potential locations, before settling on the vibrant Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
The 4-day trip of a lifetime included a private tour of the Cu Chi War Tunnels, a Tai Chi masterclass, a tour of Saigon with personalised SBM-branded caps in an original US army war jeep and a speedboat cruise along the Saigon River.
An exclusive dinner on the AB Tower’s rooftop gave guests a cityscape view of Saigon while LED dancers, a bartender fire show, and fireworks from the DJ booth provided the entertainment.
Guests stayed at the 5* InterContinental Saigon, and attended a ‘money-can’t-buy’ gala dinner at the astonishing landmark Re-unification Palace. After a surprise greeting by a 20-piece brass band, guests enjoyed performances by traditional silk dancers, a magician from ‘Vietnam’s Got Talent’ and a talented sand artist who captured the event in one storyboard.
As well as coordinating travel for guests from around the world, Banks Sadler was responsible for full programme management and all pre-, on-site and post-event logistics including venue sourcing, F&B requirements, DMC appointment, Transport and accommodation.
