In early 2016, a global pharmaceutical company rewarded 30 of their top European sales staff by treating them to a well-deserved incentive trip. Banks Sadler proposed a number of exciting destinations including a 5 night stay in Oman and Dubai. Combining once in a lifetime activities in both cities, the group were able to have a true Middle Eastern experience including a traditional Omani dinner and a surprise seaplane tour of Dubai.
Banks Sadler took responsibility for all pre, on-site and post-event logistics, including venue sourcing, F&B requirements, DMC tender/appointment process, accommodation, site inspections, a full recreation programme and transportation logistics.
Two 5* hotels were chosen for the duration of the trip, including the exclusive Al Bustan Palace Ritz-Carlton Resort where the Royal Family had stayed only two days before. Upon arrival, each guest was transferred in a private Rolls Royce before receiving a personalised gift to their room and massage at the Six Senses Spa.
Unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse, bringing torrential rain and thunderstorms that led to building closures and travel chaos. Banks Sadler worked tirelessly to ensure the guests’ experience was not disrupted, adjusting the programme to offer replacement activities.
