A leading haircare brand wanted to deliver a three day annual event where they could bring together brand partners to share their vision for the forthcoming year, recognise key individuals and provide training in order to drive sales. The conference needed to showcase their philosophy ‘move the people, who move the product’, plus reflect the client’s ambition to create an inspirational and energetic event. Three key factors steered the content; it needed to be fun and give delegates a chance to relax, give them an ‘experiential’ experience so they would feel special from start to finish, and reflect the company’s modernity through the use of modern technology throughout.
The 5* Hard Rock Hotel in Tenerife was sourced by Banks Sadler; a luxury destination to give delegates that required enviable experience. An exciting schedule was created, including the reveal of the largest launch of 2017, and a focus on the key growth drivers for 2017. Prior to the event, a branded registration site was created to ensure a seamless sign up process, and the Banks Sadler travel team booked all the delegates 160 flights.
When onsite, the attendees were treated to a full wow-factor experience with welcome and gala dinners both delivered in a stunning setting by the pool.
A group activity of a catamaran trip was organised, and described as an ‘exceptional experience’ by the attendees. The team’s crisis management skills were fully tested onsite with a flood in the meeting room ten minutes before the scheduled start time. Banks Sadler, the hotel and the client all worked extremely hard to relocate the meeting room within the hour, which included full AV in a sports bar. A new gala dinner venue, AV equipment and staging were also sourced and set up ready for the evening. The feedback from the event was outstanding with comments such as “Thank you, I will never forget this conference” and “Wonderful! Well done amazing team!”.
