We’re thrilled to announce that Banks Sadler has been shortlisted for the Event Technology Awards. Shortlisted in the ‘Best use of Technology for Interaction’ category, the nomination is for the use of our proprietary registration and onsite platform, Engage.
Engage can be personalised to any event or client, and used throughout the full duration of the event cycle. During the pre-event phase we are able to create a landing site that not only educates the audience about the event, but also acts as a traditional delegate registration site.
However, it is onsite where Engage really comes alive. Delegates can access the site through either their smartphones, or on large touchscreen kiosks which are activated by their unique RFID badge or NFC wristband. On the homepage, the user can see their personalised agenda and click to reveal details of each session. Furthermore, it acts as an announcement board for all event communications.
In addition the site allows delegates to submit questions throughout the event, partake in surveys, seek further information on guest speakers or exhibitor, and upload pictures to a photo wall. A key function of the site is also the ability for delegates to build their personal profile before and during the event that allows the event hosts to greater facilitate networking and personalised learning streams. Finally, the site can also accommodate gamification elements and richer digital interaction such as additional downloads and social media likes using the linked NFC personalised wristband.
The Event Technology Awards take place 9th November at Supernova. The full shortlist can be seen here.
