Last month 160 employees from across the globe gathered for our annual Banks Sadler Company Conference. The annual event, timed to coincide with the new financial year, celebrates the successes of the past business year as well as giving an opportunity to take stock and share strategy and vision going forward.
For the first year ever 12 star performers were invited on stage in recognition of their hard work throughout the year (pictured below). Our top performers were the monthly winners of the 'BOB award' or 'Best Of Banks Award', a peer recognition scheme where all staff nominate their best performers - with an additional £200 up for grabs in that month's paycheck for the winner.
To be recognised nominees must not only meet performance measures but also meet strict criteria of demonstrating 'above and beyond' commitment in addition to their role requirements. Winners from the French, German, York and London teams represented all sides of the business including the event management, venue finding as well a supporting business functions such as finance and IT.
Leigh Jagger, CEO, said: "We believe a business is only as good as it's staff and the BOB awards were created as just one way of showing our appreciation for a job well done and recognising the dedication of the teams. It was really important for us to structure this as a peer recognition scheme so that everyone had a fair shot and I'm delighted that this has been awarded to a number of employees across different areas of the business.
I would like to extend my thanks to Tracy Gent, Director of Conference and Incentive Sales at Rezidor as well as the teams at the Park Inn Heathrow who worked so hard to make our Company Conference event so seamless."
If you want to nominate a member of staff, or just give feedback on the service you've received we would love to hear your thoughts marketing@banks-sadler.com
Congratulations to our 2011 winners!
