As preferred supplier Banks Sadler were invited to pitch for the Annual Sales Conference which we were delighted to win! As part of the project Banks Sadler ran the travel, delegate management, logistics and on-site organisation.
Tenerife had been selected as the destination and due to the nature of the meeting it was important that one venue could hold the conference and evening activities as well as accommodate all the delegates.
Due to the specific venue requirements our Project Manager arranged site visits with a number of hotels ahead of confirming the Abama Ritz Carlton.
With delegates attending from all over the UK a suitable travel solution using scheduled carriers to Tenerife did not exist, so we needed to devise a travel plan. Two charter flights were co-ordinated in conjunction with scheduled connecting flights and trains along with a comprehensive contingency plan (which thankfully was not required!) that delivered delegates within tight arrival and departure times.
A full crisis and risk assessment was carried out during the planning process which meant that when two delegates were hospitalised with minor illness during the event the programme still ran smoothly.
Throughout the project and on-site Banks Sadler and Boehringer worked closely together which ensured the project was a success.
